Definition: A group of individuals who engage in cult-like behavior, often in political or hyper-religious arenas, characterized by blindly following a leader or idea without questioning it. The term is inspired by the (inaccurate) reputation of lemmings participating in mass migrations, which is used metaphorically to emphasize groupthink and the dangers of extreme ideologies.
