Lātūvava'u

A 17C unisex name most famously use by a set of twins, Lātūvava'u and Lātūtonga. The younger being vengeful , protective and cold, she is of the sun & land. Person: my friend at works sister has twins and one is named Látū and the other is Vava'u. She says they named after old demigods of peace and happiness??

Grandparent: Well she's not wrong it does mean that. Usually the royals have their own separate dialect to our common language and they use Latuvava'u, Latu, Vava'u while we just say Beautiful, peaceful etc..

Guy1: hey I saw you got a new girlfriend, nice!
Guy2: yeah she awesome, but she ain't no Lātūvava'u.
