Langley High

Langley High- A high school in Northern Virginia (FCPS), in close proximity to Washington DC and right down the road from the CIA. The school is located in one of the wealthiest areas in the whole country, as you can tell by the many BMWs, mercedes, audis, land rovers, and escalades in the school parking lot. Everyone wears designer clothes and most likely has their own credit card...with unlimited spending....The average yearly family income of the area will blow your mind and many kids' parents work for the government. Langley High is also ranked very high on the "top 100 schools in america" list and scores very high on their SATs. Students take AP classes and get accepted into Ivy League schools. Their (bitter) rival is nearby McLean high school. The guys are douches and the girls are really hot and really fake. There are the few exceptions there who have a "real sense" of the world and know (and care) about the world that goes on outside of the school walls. But for the most part...they are self-absorbed ninnys. But the girls are sexy....and skanky....

Dude 1: "Man, that Langley High girl is dumb as shit"
Dude 2: "Yeah, but her friend is pretty damn smart."
Dude 1: "Yeah and they're both hot as fuck. I'm going to bone them both."

Langy

Melbourne slang for Langwarrin, a town approximately 40 kilometres South-East of Melbourne, in the city of Frankston, surrounded by Somerville and Cranbourne. Known for the Flora and Fauna Reserve, and populated mostly by working-class Anglo-Australians.

Langley Effect

The 'Langley Effect' (named after Langley BC, a frustratingly bland city/township) is the universal feeling that develops inside the mind of young adults at around ages 16-18 where the individual in question has a distinct urge to leave the town where they grew up in. Since it's inception at the start of known human history, the Langley Effect has drained many small towns of their young graduating population as they move on to cities and towns that simply aren't nearly as boring as the ones they originated from (for example, Langley BC.)
Known more colloquially as the "I've gotta get the fuck outta' this town" effect.

-"I'm so tired of this place. Once I graduate, I'm moving as far away as humanly possible."
-"Sounds like someone's feeling the Langley Effect."

Langley

Langley, BC is pretty damn awesome. There are clubs, coffee shops, gorgeous girls, malls for the girls, and so much more... And Girls, there are quite a few gorgeous guys there aswell. Oh, And you can pretty much get anywhere by either walking or taking the bus. It's cool like that. Just don't go near the center of town in a car durring rush hour. You are warned.

"Everyone, let's go to Endo."
-"Where's that?"
"In Langley"
-"Sure man. Sounds like a blast!"

Langley High School

A great high school filled with respectful students who would not steal out of a teachers purse if she left the room (unlike other known schools) students who are well educated. Have great SAT scores. Can have one on one relationships with the teachers. Can come to school safe knowing they won't be hurt. Don't have to worry about gangs. No pregnancies here. Yes people are better off ( money wise) than most. YET are not all millionaires. And not everyone make 600,000 a year. .. like one person said. People at langley don't judge. People judge you for going to Langley. ( I never knew my parents working hard and working their way up on the job scale was a bad thing... ) People are generally nice to one another. No big time cliques,, everyone coexists. In addition, we could care less about the rivalry of McLean in all honest... its McLean who makes such a big deal... BTW if you go to McLean you are better off than most people in the world too.... So don't you dare make assumptions about me driving my Honda to school when you drive your BMW to McLean. We are ALL fortunate!! and that is nothing to be ashamed of... just saying.

Me- Langley high school how about you?
Girl- school name

Me- Oh cool!
Girl- oooh you go to Langley....
Me- yeah (thinks in head... u trying to start something )
