Jailbreak

Usually occurs while farting or "break"ing wind. During a windbreak a small unassuming turd seizes the opportunity and sneeks out while the door is open (so to speak).

I can't believe it, but I was out crop dusting in the hallway yesterday and had a jailbreak, so I had to visit the restroom for a cleanup on aisle 5.

In electronics: to enable use of a consumer electronics product not intended by the manufacturer through the exploitation of software hacks.

Commonly used to refer to enabling a carrier-locked phone, such as the iPhone, to accept SIM cards from other carriers. Or a restricted platform to run unlicensed or homebrew software.

Jailbroken

The process of opening the iPhone to writing. Apple released some shitty apps with the release of the iPhone and iPod touch. A group of people decided to give the iPhone to the people, saying " I paid for my iPhone, I will do whatever I goddamn want with it." many people don't have the balls to do it fearing that they might turn their device into a brick. The methods have become very simple now with methods like ziphone or ibricker. It voids your warranty on the iPod touch or iPhone but a quick restore and its like nothing ever happened, your warranty is back in effect.

Chicks dig me now that I have jailbroken my ipod touch.

Verb. Past tense: jailbricked. Electronic gadget (usually the iPhone) that had an unsuccessful jailbrake applied to it resulting in the device ending up as a brick, that is, rendered entirely useless.

Man, I jailbricked my iPhone the other night. It's entirely f***ed up now, I even can't hard reset it in iTunes any longer.
