Someone who lies about their true identity and makes up stories for attention. An Hilaria is known for taking credit for things they didn’t do, such as giving birth to six kids and being from Spain. Hilarias are known to be a particularly vexing problem of the 21st century because their grift often goes undiscovered for many years, allowing Hilarias to profit from their lies.
