Running a ducky

Running a ducky is a common slang term to mean "running late." It is only ever correctly used in gerund form.

"We've been waiting for 15 minutes! Boy, he's running a ducky."

NOT: "The other day I ran a ducky. The guys were so pissed."

In baseball, a hitter bloops a hit over the infield and in front of the oputfiled for a base hit. Coined by White Sox Announcer Hawk Harrelson.

Ducksnort...it's falling over the 2nd baseman's head for a base hit.

Mr. ducky

Mr. ducky (a duck puppet) is used as a character created by Jordan Romani, better known as comicfire7, a youtube partner who often uses this puppet in his youtube videos giving it a high-pitched duck-like voice, although Jordan has other less frequently used characters, Mr ducky is probably the most representative of his comedy sketches. Mr ducky often calls people "pussy" and is even present on his current youtube banner.

Mr. ducky: wow man I'm sorry
Jordan: since when have you given a soaring fuck about me?
Mr. ducky: I don't
Jordan: why?!
Mr. ducky: cause you're a pussy...and I don't sympathise with pussies

Duckspeak

Newspeak for speaking like a duck's quacking. When used for a friend, the conotations are positive: he belts his wisdom out without hesitation. Against an enemy, it means he speaks incoherently and without thought. This doublespeak is common in newspeak.

That comrade is a fine duckspeaker. The other one, however, tells nothing but duckspeak.
