It is an expression used in the, "if it hit you", manner. As in something you currently do not realize or experience. It literally means if something bluntly hit you in your butt/ass cheeks.

Individuals earn a TYFYS typically post photos of themselves (selfies) on social media platforms to showcase what they do. Examples include photos in their uniform, photos of amazing training exercises, eye popping photos of their apparatus and gear, and photos of amazing incidents where they are not actively involved.
