The participate in a system where money is just given to them with no work yet becoming a landlord is so hard that no one who dislikes landlords can figure out how to become one.
I must be one of those Schrodinger landlords because I lost money but I'm still hated for providing short term housing to people who don't want the commitment of buying a home.
