Stoichkov Syndrome

Affliction where one can walk into a situation completely unaware of the current state of play, and comment instantly, and often with great accuracy on present dealings.

In this situation (where Stoichkov Syndrome was first diagnosed), 3 people are discussing the European Football Championships, #2 and #3 have successfully named 15 of the 16 participating nations without naming any wrong teams, and #1 conducting the quiz presses them for the answer to the 16th (Bulgaria), offering a clue...

Strictmas

Strictmas is the season from December 1st to January 1st in which strict Christmas followers feel decorations should be allowed to be hung. Any decorations put up before or any kept up after are considered wrong and a violation of the strictmas season. Loose strictmas followers condone decorations or trees put up after Thanksgiving but not necessarily after December 1st.

Guy 1: "Its not even Thanksgiving and this guys got his lights up and a blow up Santa, that disgusts me!"

Guy 2: "Cool it bro, he's just celebrating the season."

Guy 1: "Actually, Strictmas season runs from December 1st to the 1st of January and its not even Thanksgiving, this is a felony in my books."
