When you don't quite run, but aren't walking either. Distinct from jogging, sauntering, skipping, etc. Normally, in reaction to a ball that is getting away.

I sort of ran to go get a ball and my ankle didn't hurt at all!

Doing sudoku, cooking dinner, watching a movie, running on a treadmill, applying mascarra without a mirror, and clipping my nails. Kinda sortoku, but not really. Takes everything twice as long to do as normal.
