A person who has to leave their home because of war or prosecution and tries to find shelter in another country.

That refugee ran from the war in his country.

Welfare Refugee

A person (usually a child-baring female)whom is weened from welfare due to the Welfare Reform Act of 1997 where welfare mothers had to get off of their lazy asses and get jobs, or their children would lose their healthcare benefits, food stamps, and other percs before the legal age of 18. Many Welfare Refugees have minimal skills and theirfore work minimum wage jobs.

I worked at Comcast, where a majority of the workforce in customer service was either Welfare Refugees or brain-dead slobs!

political refugee

Those innocents not subject to the doctrines and policies mandated for the federal level, public servants have taken private refugee status outside the authority of current political leaders. They are the political refugees and private gentiles.

I died and Jesus carried me to heaven where I ran into Tom Petty who said: "you don't have to live like a political refugee but my life was not over at the death of me." I still write songs spiritually inspired, years after the world said I retired. Rest in peace they say when you die and even after death retirement is a lie. refugee

The correct definition of a 'refugee' is a person who is outside the country of their nationality, and is unable to or unwilling to avail him/herself of the protection of that country due to a well-founded fear of being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion.

The latest use for the word refugee arrived in 2005 after hurricane katrina, when due to a natural disaster, the citizens of the gulf coast lost citizenship of the u.s. and aparently became outsiders.

2. n. Friends or neighbors who come over to mooch because they have no TV or satellite.
