Wharf Psychosis, is a term presented to someone with an elaborate definition in an attempt to convince them that its true, a group of friends would each be given the task to convince a stranger that their made up definition is true, they would later on compare definitions to see who's is more absurd.
Person:Ever heard of wharf psychosis?
Stranger: no
Person: Its a disease like gangrene that eats away leaving elaborate patters on your skin
Stranger: bullshit but ok

When it's a person's birthday and they announce it every 5 minutes on Facebook for friends to wish them a happy birthday even though everyone already knows. Once their friends are suckered into sending birthday wishes - they then ask for more without saying thank you, leaving everyone amazed and moderately disgusted. Slight variation of attention whore
Birthday brat: HEY EVERYONE ITS MY BIRTHDAY TODAY WISH ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Thoughtful Friend: HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Birthday Brat replies: WHERE'S MY GIFT??????????????
Thoughtful friend messages everyone else secretly: OMG!! He has Birthday Psychosis!

Modern exotic birds are prone to fits of passion and rage while working long term in the sex industry. Psychosis for birds is quite common under these psycho-sexual thrillers and their show tune escapades. Commonly the only course of action is to allow the birds their freedom to roam to the coast and sit on decrepit piers to keep their sanity.
Like an exotic bird perched atop a weathered pier on a far-away coastline, the psychosis for birds crept up slowly.
