influencer lobotomy

The idea that influencers, especially on Tik Tok, are very out of touch with what's going on in the world.
Influencer: I don't know what's going on in the world right now, but if you support it, then unfollow me
Comment section: bruh this is so "influencer lobotomy" coded

Influencer bait

Technology products produced solely for the attention of social media influencers and/or reviewers.

The products are typically manufactured with weak craftsmanship, have little or no long-term software support, and have a high price.

A manufacturer may financially compensate an influencer to review, talk positively about, and be seen using a product.
Who even is the target audience for AI assistant devices? Why can't they integrate the technology to smartphones? They feel like influencer bait!

influencer influenza

A term for the seemingly contagious sense of delusion and lack of common sense exhibited by some influencers who are out of touch with the rest of the world and/or blinded by fame and money. Coined by YouTuber Antonio Garza.
I saw someone using their daughter's trauma to farm clout on TikTok. She must have influencer influenza.

A millionaire YouTuber complaining about losing one brand deal? Oh, looks like he caught the influencer influenza.
