Imperialism saw a sharp rise in the early 20th century, in which various predominant European and Asian monarchies in dire need of raw resources to upkeep their growing industrial and economic needs frequently engaged in minor skirmishes with their weaker neighbors and distant, underdeveloped lands. This in turn contributed to the outbreak of World War 1, in which tensions for new territories rich in resources pitted imperial alliances against each other after the assassination of Arch Duke Franz Ferdinand.

The owner, Wights (referred to as 'Lord Solar' in Sol), has owned other clans before his rise to ownership of the group. Sol has many departments within its Imperialis, and 3 divisions.
Imperial Deathwatch: Elites in Sol. You'll usually find them at the top of the leaderboard at most events, and being brought to elite raids or defenses.
Hetaeron Guard: The most prestigious rank within the Imperium. Members of the Guard are the upmost of loyal and have been serving Sol for a long time.
Inquisitorial Knights: Internal affairs. Does behind-the-scene work, such as watching suspicious people or conducting PC-checks.
Before you can enter the main group, you must pass through the Solar Militarum, which is Sol's filter group. The Militarum has 3 stages, each testing the trialist of their abilities.
Conscript (1st stage): Given an introduction to Sol, has to attend 3 seminars and pass through the Conscript Examination to progress into the next stage.
Trooper (2nd stage): Tested upon their combat skills. If shown worthy, they can progress into the next stage.
Senior Trooper (3rd stage): While mostly classified, the Senior Trooper will have to pass the Graduation Exam, using everything they learned from the past 2 stages. If they pass, they are promoted to Astarte.
