The act of looking at your opponents screen to find out their location when playing video games with your friends, such as (Halo 3, Gears of War, and most FPS).

-Fred- Dude how did you know I was sniping from there?!

(Or something along those lines)", a question that is generally asked by a naive non-Arizona resident. Whether or not cactus-hopping is truly practiced in Arizona remains a mystery, but it does make for a good way to silence people who think their state is cooler than Arizona.
