Hedon

Because "hedonist" takes too long to say, one who believes in the philosophy of or practices hedonism, the idea that life is meant for pleasure, or that the pursuit of pleasure is of the highest calling in life. This could include drinking, drugs, sex, or for the moderates, having fun. Has the connotation that one throws caution and wisdom to the wind. Not to be confused with heathen.

Doing only things that pleased herself, she was labeled a hedon by the religious community.

Rational Hedonism

A modern, growing Religion based on enjoying the pleasures of this life, now, instead of holding out for a hoped-for heaven after you're dead and it's too late.

Rational Hedonism is a religion revolving around the individual, and the belief that Your world revolves around You.

Rational Hedonism believes in indulging in the things you enjoy, but with responsibility; ie: sex is great, STDs and unwanted pregnancy is not ... following your desires, dreams is cool, going to prison because of it is not.

The process of letting woke company ideology get in the way of common sense, to the point of it costing you billions in revenue and/or market capitalization, and when such mistakes are realized, instead of pivoting to normalcy you double down thus destroying the company in the process.

Costanza just hired Ravi from Harvard to reinvigorate our brand, I hope he doesn't pull a Heinerscheid and take us down in the process.
