Graffiti Novel

A comic book without Superheros, commonly written as a personal struggle story from the perception of underdog protagonist, often with religious or political undertones.

It is existential art. You will know it when you see it. Graffiti Novels are essentially a "Blanksy" piece, but written and illustrated.

Piss-stain graffiti

Piss-stain graffiti is graffiti that is sprayed on someone else's property. It always lacks creativity and is sprayed for the purpose to look cool in front of your friends. It won't make you look cool, but it will make you an asshole.

The use of ducktape to make graffiti instead of the traditional spray paint.

Graffiti Fraud

Advertising disguised as underground art.

Exemplified by Mark Ecko's faking of the tagging of Air Force One, which was a high cost production to advertise stillfree.com.

Can be used to describe any underground culture being used to induce consumers to buy something.

Using punk music in commercials is just plain graffiti fraud.

graffiti collector

A person who admires and acknowledges and observes graffiti with out actually taking part in the production of graffiti or even the culture.
A graffiti collecting has close ties to the stamp collecting or a bird watching.
a collector may document and catalogue graffiti that has been observed.

"hey man what you doing taking photos of all this graffiti?"
"I'm collecting it I'm a graffiti collector."
