A rare breed of snake that is deeply concerned about the world economy. Often gives humans subliminal messages (i.e. invesment advice), and is very helpful, with an IQ ranging from 300-400. They eat spinach and enjoy table tennis.

helicopter economics

When the monetary authorities put a seemingly unlimited amount of money into the financial system in order to stimulate the economy; as if they were flying around in helicopters and dropping money from the sky. This usually results in substantial inflation and sometimes hyperinflation.

The Federal Reserve's excessive easy money policy is helicopter economics at its worst.

Encino

Perhaps one of the nicest cities in the Valley. Encino is mostly hills and most houses are huge and have amazing views of the valley lights at night. People in Encino tend to be nice and down to earth even if they do have a Tesla or a Bentley parked in their driveway. You can find the typical soccer mom in encino sending her kids to encino little league or something similar. Often times kids from encino are sent to schools far away since most of the close ones suck. Private schools, or even schools in LVUSD All in all, encino is a pretty nice area.

Thanks To The Economy

Common beginning or ending to a sentence. It can serve to:

1. provide an excuse for going on a spending splurge and buying things at their lowest prices ever.
2. suggest a sarcastic tone of frustration with work (cut in hours, cut in pay, cut in benefits, downsizing, laid off).
3. add to the delusional lie that the economy is getting better because of being fixated on greed and material possessions.
4. express serious concern for not having enough to live on.

1. Look at all the stuff I bought at dirt cheap prices, thanks to the economy.

Econoslob

An overnight houseguest who arrives expecting free food, drinks, and a clean bed, but leaves a trail of empty beer cans and other messes throughout the house.
The Econoslob never offers to help prepare a meal, clean up or buy a round of drinks if going to a bar.

After eating the elaborate breakfast prepared by his host, the Econoslob left dirty plates on the table and a pile of dirty towels on the guest room floor.
