Degrassi

Canadian version of Beverly Hills 90210. The actors are a bunch of washed-up losers who can't get jobs acting in anything else. So, you have characters like Snake, who's like 90 years old, and he's still in the show.

I'm gay, so I'll probably be watching Degrassi tonight.

1. best tv show EVER! the show is based on teens in canada who go thru the same issues teens today do, such as sex, rape, drugs, etc. also, unlike most shows for teens, the plots arent far fetched versions on what its really like in the real world. AND the actors are usually the same age as there characters. basically, it goes there.

2. where drake, the rapper, and cassie steele got his big break.

1. girl 1: omg did you see that episode of degrassi last nite?
girl 2: omg yes! i cant believe it goes there!
girl 1: ikr?

2. dude: hey dude did you know that drake became big on degrassi?
other dude: yea, so did cassie steele!

degrassi

A horrifying disgrace to life itself in the form of an overly stereotyped preteen drama. Recently adopted by The-N, which only emphasized the pure crap of degrassi by placing it in context with shows of similar or even worse nature, then airing commercials in an attempt to make it seem as if anyone gives a shit about it. These commercials contain ACTORS that say things like "If I was whats her name, I would so go out with such and such, regarldess of thing he did," making it seem to innocent young minds that what matters is having a girlfriend/boyfriend.

An act of pure brainwashing!

Degrassi is the epitome of youth stereotyping. We must stop it before it delivers the wrong message.

A strangely addicting TV show that features a show with every possible problem a school could possibly have along with terrible actors.
From Canada.
Majority of viewers are girls between 10-18. Too bad I fall right in the middle.

Degrassi is poorly directed, poorly acted, and the content is crap...but I can't stop watching it.
