When someone passes gas and walks away, trailing the smell behind them. Commonly used as a tactic to avoid taking the fall of getting called out in public.

When you walk past someone and fart and then walk away, leaving them in your fart smell.

The act of walking past somebody, and without their knowledge, letting out a fart as you pass. Thus creating the crop dusting effect. Very effective in announcing your presence, or maximizing the devastating effect of your discharge.
