The most poular music in Bulgaria for the last 2 years and probablt for the next 70,because the country is going to the dogs.Listened by 40-year-old alcohol addicts,who live alone,weigh at least 90 kg and go fishing every weekend in the poluted pond not beacuse of the fish,but because of the free food provided by their so called "friends".The avarage bulagrian/chalgarian drinks "Slavena"(the worse beer on the market,costs about 0.60 BGN per litre) and whacks off every time they see a chalga singer(usualy female,but there is one who's gay).The chalga music is suposed to be called Pop-Folk,but it's actualy a mockery of the bulgarian folklore.What can I say...screwed up country,screwed up music.

this is an only commercial kind of music like USA's hiphop but worst with by definition showing off of women balconies, BMW and/or Mercedes, stupid lyrics which are nonsense for normal people in Bulgaria they include cover version's of the above mentioned coutries folk and Serbian and vice versa
the song mentioned in first definition continues like "the major's wife is souping her tit" (it's tit in single because of the rhyme in Bulgarian - wow!)

Somebody wrote that "everybody" listens to chalga in Bulgaria. This is not true. Yes, a great deal of the people do listen to it, but that's not all of them.
I suppose whoever reads this is inteligent enough to make some conclusions of his own about how meaningful a "style" of music can be, while being listened by "almost all" of a nation. Almost all, of course, means mostly bus drivers and whores...
