Arcadia Bay

Arcadia Bay is a fictional, picturesque seaside town in Oregon, United States, and the setting of the original Life is Strange. It reappears in the prequel game and very briefly in the franchise's newest installment, Life is Strange 2.
So maybe Arcadia Bay will actually turn out to be the island of treasure and adventure I've been looking for.

joan of arcadia

A great show on CBS starring the highly talented Amber Tamblyn. It follows the life of average teenager Joan and her family. Joan gets visited by God occasionally, and he gives her an obscure task to do.

These tasks usually lead Joan into uplifting adventures, wacky encounters, or other emotional moments.

Her friends, Grace and Adam, two social outcasts in school, have no idea that Joan talks to God. Joan tried to tell Adam once, but due to her trip to the hospital, he thought she was only imagining it.

Joan learns that no matter how obscure a job for her is, it always touches and effects the people around her.

Acacia Fraternity

Often shortened to "Acacia," or simply AKAK in some of the proud Southern chapters, Acacia is an international fraternity (thanks, Canada!) with a rich heritage. The guys generally have clean houses, pull decent grades, and know how to foster a genuine connection in the overwhelming nothingness of a vast, unflinching cosmos. These guys take pride in their creative party drinks and signature Acacia Gummies. Their national philanthropy raises money for kids whose lives suck and need medical treatment their parents can't afford. What they lack in general campus recognition, they make up for in top-tier party reviews authored by elite committees comprised of the most important and beautiful Party Review Babes™.
Stephanie: Are you hitting up Acacia Fraternity tonight for their Night on the Nile party?

Ellie: Yeah, it's the only time I'm really willing to go to a costume party IN COSTUME, you know what I mean?

Stephanie: Yeah, but their gummies are worth wearing a slutty toga all night.

Chiac Acadian

Are a generally unrecognized

métis ethnic group from Acadia (or Acadie). The Chiac are different from other Acadians as they are descendants from the Indigenous people and the 17th century French settlers. They speak their own language, which is also called Chiac, it's Eastern Algonquian-Acadian French mixed with some English. They live in the "Chiac communities" in south-east New Brunswick , Canada (Around the Coastal region, From Kouchibouguac to Cap-Pele), yet some Chiac live in other areas as well.

Anadia

She’s the type of person you want to have in your life. She’s always down for new adventures, someone you can trust, she won’t judge you, very caring, loves with her whole heart, can be stubborn at times, and very brave. A dreamer with big goals. She’s a leader not a follower. She’ll pop in once in a while to let others know that she’s still alive but then she’ll vanish back into her mysterious life. She doesn’t let anyone know what she’s been up to, just randomly pops in from time to time, she doesn’t open up as much as she should.
Anadia is an explorer, she’s a dreamer, she walks this world gracefully.
“A dreamer, that’s what Anadia is.”
“Where did Anadia go?” ... “She’s gone..”
“Anadia just wants to explore.”
“Anadia gets bored of living the same old life, that’s why she’s always gone...”
