AFLOL

AFLOL is an abbreviation for “Atrociously funny, laughing out loud” that can be used instead of lol or lmao.

AFLOL was made by a group of tumblr users back in 2014, the originals users are now unknown. The abbreviation was semi popular 2014 in some scarce groups but eventually was forgotten back in early 2016, in recent months some groups have been trying to revive the abbreviation.

A word invented by Riley J. Parsons and Katie D. Karrson that is an acronym for "Actually Laughing Out Loud." This phrase was invented because when one says "LOL" LOL it is hard to decipher whether they are actually laughing out loud or not while computer messaging. This lessens the confusion a great deal.

Person A: "Why was six afraid of seven?"
