SIG SAUER

Manufacturer of high-quality firearms for military, law enforcement and commercial users. Best known for their "P" series of semi-automatic pistols (such as the P220, P226, P229, etc.), they also offer high-quality rifles.

Originally founded in 1853 as a wagon factory in Switzerland, by 1865 they were supplying rifles to the Swiss Army and the company's name was changed to Schweizerische Industrie-Gesellschaft (SIG).
