The Great Resignation is a phenomenon that describes record numbers of people leaving their jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, often with no other job lined up and with no plans to resume working.
The trend is associated with the anti-work movement and a resurgence in support for labor-centric socioeconomics, and is heavily influenced by the stagnation of wages since the end of the Cold War. However, at least part of the trend has been a result of the popularity of remote work and a reluctance to resume working in office settings, which are largely seen as wasteful and/or uncomfortable in comparison with workers' private residences.

I hated working in that office, if my boss asks me to go back to working there I'll join the Great Resignation and put in my two-weeks notice the same day.

Get the The great Portuguese challenge mug.Biggest sporting clay event of 2022. Hosted by Scarborough Fish & Game, Conley & Hebert battled it out in a 100 round shootout. The sporting-clay field was proving challenging due to the blustery conditions and relatively new gun for Conley as Hebert excelled out of the gate and was off to an early lead. Miraculously, Conley managed to become a master with him shotgun and was soon an unstoppable force. Hebert stood mesmerized and in awe, as Conley made quick work of the remaining clays. Although most thought the match wouldn’t go beyond stand 5, Conley turned doubters into believers. This was certainly one for the ages and a loss that Hebert will think of daily.
