Usually they have decades of service with their airline. This is mostly an American industry term, as foreign airlines usually limit stewardesses to a top age of 26.

Freshmen Farmers only try to date students who are younger then them. These kids are usually considered weirdos due to the fact that they can't pull women in their age group/grade.
