2) taking a many-mile walk alone (note-this walk is not for exorcise or running errands; it is for purposely getting away from the people you know....though, yes, you are technically out in the public)

Hide-and-go-pee

When there is only one open urenal next to two guys. You walk up and get ready to go, but then you notice they're looking at you out of the corner of their eyes. To prevent from being checked out, you waddle all the way up to the urenal, effectively hiding your privates.

Guy, "Aw man, one open urenal. I guess I'm in for a game of hide-and-go-pee."

Guy1, "I got to go, but theres only one urenal left"
Guy2, "Just hide-and-go-pee"

hide under the rainbow

Hiding under the rainbow is when you get caught for doing something wrong (like sexual harassment) and then immediately come out of the closet (i.e. admitting that you are gay). At that point, anyone that says anything derogatory about you is wrong because they are homophobic. See also: Kevin Spacey.

I guess Kevin Spacey thought that now is a good time to hide under the rainbow after he got caught with his hand in the underage cookie jar.
