Googlarchy

A Googlarchy is a form of (upcoming) government in which all political power is passed down to Google due to its exponentially increasing control and knowledge of how, what, where and when people consume information. It is contested that the Googlarchy is now in its "King Maker" position (through “Googlearchy”), steadily heading towards the final governance and dominance. Googlarchy has massive databases on its subjects which are more detailed and exhaustive than what any of the current governments have managed to build, populate and operate. The Googlarchy has the motto "Don't Be Evil", however, the motives and goals become apparent when one makes an effort to look away from the way it projects it self.

I would as well live under Monarchy than under Googlarchy.

Google Education

When someone's knowledge is based on countless hours spent searching for information on google.

Usually somebody who's trying to act like an authoritative on the subject.

Man 1: So I started itching real bad lately.
Man 2: Yep, man it's definitely Hepatitis C
Man 1: How do you know?
Man 2: Because I search disease symptoms on google all the time.
Man 1: I didn't know you could get a Ph.d in Google Education >.>

When you search for your name and one of the results on the first page is actually you.

I search for my name, and the first hit was my owling video.

Noun: The sudden urge to go on Google and look up everything you're curious about.

Last night I was on the internet looking up everything from Aztecs to zoology. I think I've been bitten by the Google bug!

google coder

A programmer who doesn't really know how to code. Google search is their main source for finding out how to do something while they hack in a solution. They are usually from the tech boom before the bubble burst, mid to late 90's, and they were hired during a time when companies didn't really care if you could code or not.....or at least they didn't do a very good job testing people's skill or looking up their background to see if they knew what they were doing.

John: Why is this code so poorly written?

Bobby: Ah, that was Carl's work, he is a google coder!

Google Shaming

Openly mocking ignorance which could easily be remedied by a simple Google search. Typically passive aggressive and deadpan, Google shaming is often missed by the recipient.

John: Where can I find a free PDF converter?

Jane: Uhm... OK. Have you tried... like... Google?

Dave: Wow Jane. Nice Google Shaming.
