Used by Christians to try and tell poeple not to have sex, get drunk, and do drugs. Seldom works but there is progress they believe. Some people are no long doing drugs and having sex at the same time....sometimes.

Double standard

Something people often see in others, while rarely seeing their own.

The violence committed against a few females in prison about a hundred years ago happened to males in prison all the time, and calling a male one who had the spirit of a saint for bearing it would be laughable to most people, since its normal for males to fuck each other up. Its another double standard females use to try and make their lives and bodies seem to be worth more in the eyes of many than the lives of males. If a male dope dealer is a parasite, so is a female dope dealer, simple.

The amount of time it takes for gently used office chairs to be spoken for after an email is sent to accounting office staff announcing the chairs are available for exchange. Approximately 15 minutes per dozen chairs. Krispy Kreme donut standard is 1 hour per dozen.

The Krispy Kreme donuts don't meet the Chair standard.

selective double standard

A double standard based more on somebody's personal negative feelings than on fairness.

Lindsay the supervisor would order people she hated to do more work than everyone else (move the goalposts on them) and was quicker to try and get them fired if she hated them (a negative feeling towards them she would always deny having or say someone else felt that way if asked simply, plainly, and directly) whether they did their jobs as well as everyone else or not. She lived by the same kind of selective double standard she would always try and poke fun at others for having.
