Spock air quotes

Similar to the standard air quotes gesture however you use the Spock hand formation and only use it to describe scientific or technical quotes.

I would have called bullshit on his string theory explanation however he did use Spock air quotes so I’m pretty sure he is correct.

A nonsensical word created by immature high school students who need a way to "stand out" and distinguish themselves. Obviously these kids don't have enough personality to do this through any other way than posting "quating" on facebook statuses and forming a secret club about the word. It gives them a sense of identity although its superficial because the identity is essentially built around something unreal.

is quotatious, sounds good, and also "true". (A quote doesn't have to be true to be quotatious, just this example is.)
