When you have an important and mandatory event or responsibility that stands between you and a vacation. Can be anything from a midterm the day before Thanksgiving break to babysitting right before Spring break. Usually, these things will happen at the latest possible time they can be offered. One would add "Massive" right before the term if they were being stopped from enjoying a truly epic event.
Shalmi: What're you doing for Winter break?
Jody: Chilling in South Beach, fucking hella bitches, and getting loads of guap. Gonna be sick. But I got a goddamn calc and bio midterm to knock off first. Literally, its the last day of classes.
Shalmi: Damn, n*gga, that's some serious Holiday Blue Balls right there.
Jody: Bet.

Using a holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.) as an excuses to send "mass text" to all girls of potential booty call.
Stephen: "Merry Christmas! Hope you got everything you wanted"
Kassandra: "Thanks, you too (:"
Stephen: "What are you doing later? Wanna hang out?"
Kassandra: "Sure, but I won't be your Holiday Booty Call this year!"

An unofficial holiday originally conceived March of 2005. The holiday occurs on the 4th Saturday of every June.
The main purpose of the holiday is to honor beer in all its forms by consuming it throughout the course of the day. The secondary purpose of the holiday is to give chronic binge drinkers one more day on which they can justify over indulgence.
Note that in order to properly represent the holiday in print, appropriate capitalization and comma usage must be maintained.

Going on an insane cocaine fuelled bender, which does not actually invove any travelling at all. The Colombian holiday comes to the individual, typically for a weekend depending on ones stamina.
Mark was elated from the Colombian holiday which now meant insomnia for the forseeable future. But it was worth it.
