ORIGINS: Jabroni is NOT a new word, despite the claims of young people who recently discovered the slang. Jabroni has it's origins in the Eastern European and Italian neighborhoods of Philadelphia and New York in the 1950s and 60s as a slang for a goofball, asshole or jerk. The original slang shares a connotation with the genitals of a barnyard animal (swine) and may have been a play on the Italian word for pork/ham - 'giambone'
In popular wrestling parlance, the word is associated with Dwane "The Rock" Johnson who used Jabroni as a derogatory slang towards other rival wrestlers in the 1990s. Either an individual or a group of people on most likely found on pontoon boat, JetSki, or 1990’s shitty runabout with empty beer cans littering the floor.
