Puppy Break

When a person or persons normal, everyday activity is interrupted by the presence of a dog. Upon seeing the dog, it is typical and encouraged for said person(s) to play with the dog or engage it in a verbal exchange (e.g. "Who is a cute puppy? YOU ARE A CUTE PUPPY!").

Sally brought her pug when she came to visit the office, which was a nice puppy break.

Fat Break

A break from activity reserved for those with a 'few extra pounds', aka the fat.

When a fat break is declared, all activity is halted and precious breathes, calories are consumed, and/or other rejuvenating acts are carried out by said fattie.

The term can also be used ironically by someone who is not actually fat, but is in the spirit of 'fatness'.

Friend #1: *whilst biking; Want to go up that hill?
Fat Friend #2: Yeah, but I need a quick fat break.
Friend #1: Dude, this is your 4th fat break this past hour. Alright *patiently waits*.
