A person using some form of social media (more so Skype), to intentionally bug, harass, or just simply entertain someone by posting exceptionally large amounts of images from scrolling the internet.

Damn it, some spamming wizard has hacked my bloody Snapchat and spammed all these pics.

While it was nice to know Tom was trying to keep in touch, all I would ever receive were his impersonal Love Spams.

often used on facebook and through texts.
however, may not be met with appreciation by those who don't have a sense of humour.

Granny spam

Unwanted, non-personal email received from a family member, friend or colleague.

Granny spam has usually been forwarded several times and concerns such inane topics as childish jokes, dubious political propaganda, spurious computer security alerts or claims of monetary recompense in exchange for forwarding of said spam.

Subject lines are often of the form "FW: FW: FW: FW: bullshit"

Origin: Usenet, circa 1990-1999.

'granny spam', ... it's the kind of thing your grandmother, who has just discovered this newfangled internets thing, is likely to forward.
