Critical Ethology

Critical Ethology asks: Are animal behavior studies projecting human social norms onto animals? Do concepts like "dominance hierarchies" naturalize human inequality? Marxist Ethology doesn't reduce animals to economics; it insists that how we study animals reflects how we think about society, and that a class analysis can illuminate both.
