1) When one surfs a less than stellar wave and it breaks short leaving you with nothing but sand beneath you as your board flies in the air and your head heads for the ground
Side effects: possible unconsciousness, shortened penius, anal bleeding, and/or broken nose

2) Can also be used to describe an epic fail.

pocket diving

"Pocket diving" is when you need to dig down in your pocket or purse to find stuff, especially store cards, money, and/or credit cards. There must be an end to pocket diving because fumbling and juggling your cards while everyone is waiting in line just doesn't work. As a cashier, carrying a watch or a wrist band so one doesn't have to think of these things would make it so much easier for both customers and cashiers alike, and serious cut down on the wait for cashiers.

Are you some kind of ass that you're holding up the the line at the cashier's register going pocket diving for your cards?

dive-bombing

Method of attack in military circles. As the name suggests, you dive before dumping a bomb on a target. Used as a means to increase accuracy of bombing, plus it is bloody satisfying, especially if you get a one-bomb double kill. Specialised dive-bombing aircraft like the Ju-87 Stuka, D3A or SB2C are used for such roles.

For best results, conduct dive-bombing in a Ju 87 with Jericho trumpets, and relish in the opposition's terror.
