When a friend makes plans with you, waits until the day of the event and then gives vague answers by text and does not answer her phone instead of telling you she is not coming.

Becca was supposed to go out with us but then totally disappeared—she is the queen of situational ghosting.

A situation where you are friends with benefits where no romantic feelings are reciprocated, only lustful urges and tendencies, therefore making it where you get the good parts of a relationship without all the work, synonymous with a situation-ship but with even less accountability and exclusivity.

Akin Situation

An occurrence in the electronic game of Dice Wars in which a player has two or less territories which usually results in the early elimination of the player within the first three to six turns of the game, or when a player is left with one territory for the remainder of the game until one of the other players (whether it be CPU or Human) puts him/her out of his/her misery.

"I started a game of Dice Wars with my comrades and was doing quite well until I found myself to be in an Akin Situation."

"Oh no! I only have one territory left! I seem to be in an Akin Situation! This is not fair!"
