A holiday in celebration of the prophet Bellini. Many years ago, before the Big Traffic Jam, a man named Bellini went to the store to buy a jar of buttermilk. Pausing to gaze at the majesty of an empty parking lot, Bellini was struck by a rock and died. On the site of his death, a buttermilk tree miraculously sprouted.

A Canary Day is a colloquial expression for a day of immense slothfulness, rest, or otherwise inhibition to perform the daily duties and routine of ones life. Often it is associated with drug use, abnormal sleeping schedules, and containment in a closed space for the entirety or majority of the day.
"I just had a 'Canary Day' week. I was so stressed from last week's work that I just couldn't focus on anything this week!"

J: "Naw, called in sick. Me and Brett have been day raging over at his place since like 10am."
E: "Well, I guess you can't drink all day long if you don't start in the morning."
"The beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad, so I had one more for dessert." - Johnny Cash, 'Sunday Morning Coming Down'
