A phrase used to convey a moment, when someone does something out of either habit or instinct. Not to be used as a joke in front of an actual brain dead person.

Subject A: “Bruh! You closed the door in front of me!”
Subject B: “Sorry! Brain dead moment!”

The process of gaining a major achievement and instantly losing it because of an unfortunate mistake, error or lapse in judgement.

Hundreds of students thought they were admitted to Harvard, but it turned out to be a Moonlight moment.

Tylenol moment

A decision (such as recalling, a dangerous batch) that saves a brand or product from being disliked or discontinued. Originally refers to the 1982 Chicago Tylenol murders where cyanide was slipped into Tylenol bottles. Johnson & Johnson halted production and quickly, recalled all bottles. The move is likely what saved the Tylenol brand from this incident.

This is a Tylenol moment we have to recall.
