It started at 10:00 am and lasted for seventeen minutes in remembrance and solidarity to the seventeen students who were killed in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. Another school walkout is planned on April 20th, the 19th anniversary of the Columbine shooting for the same purposes.
