As Louis CK exlained in one of his bits, the word faggot did not mean gay when he was a kid -- you wouldn't have called someone, gay or straight, a faggot, unless they were being a faggot. Over time, however, the term became more widely associated as a homophobic slur, which necessitated the invention of a replacment. Ergo, we have the word fuckboy.
