Willy Wonka Experience

When something is significantly less than described.

Based on an early 2024 event in Glasgow, Scotland where parents were led to believe they were taking their children to an immersive Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory experience. In reality, it was a mostly bare warehouse with AI-printed decorations. Also, no actual chocolate was provided.

He told me he was a great cook and to come over for dinner. When I got there, it was boxed mac and cheese with cut up hot dogs. It was a real Willy Wonka Experience.

This is probably in the ball park of reason number 6-8 (The goldilocks zone of reasons to shoot up a place). Probably not the number 1 reason to do it but it's top 10 at least. Number 1 is probably molestation cover up. Like, if you get molested and they cover it up, you come back years later and *KAKAKAKAKAKAKA!* Maybe I'll do a list later for top 10 reasons to shoot up a school. I actually think genuine insanity is probably lower on the list. Like 9 maybe? Now that I think about it... Yeah... I'm going to do a list."

Lived experience

And you hyper-fixate on it because you (to some extent) don't have an articulated or particularized self. How much of you actually identity is tied up in locality? "I went to this school and did this job." And I know how it's supposed to work. I'm supposed to infer from that based on the quality of the school and your occupation and I'm supposed to allow THAT INFERENCE to lend credence to the things you say or do... But it doesn't. Those are coordinates. That doesn't mean anything to anyone who isn't willing to pretend with you.
