Avoidance of chalk on fingertips,

the warm softness of your lips.

Food pronounced a certain way,

frequent annotations of the words I say.

Midnight walks on moonlight road,

full of excitement when it has snowed.

Overboiled smell of chia,

fascination with the sky.

Photographs and video games,

all of the people and all of their names.

Always knowing where you’re at,

a special connection with my cat.

The ability to both stand out and blend in,

bright eyes and infectious grin.
