povo spec

Short for "Poverty specification". Originates from car culture, referring to cars that had many desirable options from the factory, but the purchaser chose the most basic possible model.

"Povo spec" is used to refer to anything that is cheap, and where paying just a little bit more would give a much better product. Can also be used simply to refer to something or someone that is bland and has no interesting attributes.

It's funny, his new Suzuki is just about as povo spec as he is.
