Homosexual, Dumb, Stupid, and Happy or Joyful

My Opinion: Do not get offended with the word gay. It is a piece of literature. And when being used in the right context and clearly stood that it was not trying to insult the actual homosexuality then there should be no problem in using the word. However when describing a person do be careful with how you use the word because that may set off an offense to them or others around you remember to be respectful.

The young man confessed his attraction for other men by telling his parents he is gay.

My cell phone is so gay it has no camera.
