A lot of young people today have no idea what a "video tape" is, and might think it's a complicated and discreet suicide method, in which
case they'd be horribly
wrong. So i'm here to tell people about it. A video tape is a roll of thin magnetic tape with magnetic video storing. (specifically, iron oxide) To work, it needs to be decoded with a suitable
machine, which is where the tape player comes into
play. Finally, it uses a little motorized wheel to move the tape, and
speed can be controlled, or you could rewind it. Video tapes (or cassettes) could be rented in stores, with the most prominent rental bussiness being Blockbuster, and these stores also had specific machines meant just for rewinding the tapes.
