Street protesters who use social media to create a facade of activism. More concerned with updating images of themselves at protests and rallies on social media than articulating the cause. Easily triggered, with a deer in headlights look, when debated, and clueless of how to achieve the political goals for which they are protesting.

Similar to being self conscious, being selfie conscious is when you are self conscious about taking a selfie in public.
"Why don't you just take the damn selfie?"
"There's too many people around. I'm feeling selfie-conscious."

A selfie that is taken above the abdominal region on the body (for under the abdominal region, see downtown seflie), usually by a female exposing her chest. This shot takes a little more time and effort (perhaps some form of filter and lighting) and might be uploaded to her Tumblr if she feels it's reminiscent of her of modeling days–five years ago…
Girl One - *text alert* "He wants a picture! Quick, take an uptown selfie of my tits!"
Girl Two - "Perch them under your arm like you're presenting them to the world…That shot would look great in black and white."
