Bogsnot is the mucous barrier which resides in the colon, which makes pushing out that collosal duece a smoother, safer event. Even though starfish lube is an essential part of the digestive system, to call someone bogsnot is to not put them on a high enough pedestal to be called an actual filthy grogan.
