Person repeatedly says I'm going to quit smoking pot. They prove unable to do so, for whatever reason. Using marijuana impacts short-term memory which causes the person to begin making mistakes and forgetting things they don't mean to. Eventually, one of these mistakes ends up costing the person something more than what they wanted, no matter how big. The marijuana user becomes pre-occupied with wanting to use again and that time and mental energy takes away from normal life. All of these are examples of marijuana addiction.

N. the point where someone is such a lazy stoner that not only do they do nothing exciting, but they have reduced their sex drive substantially. This affliction is not a hazard to the casual marijuana smoker, rather it is reserved for the full time stoner. Though not a recognized medical disorder, studies show that symptoms can be reduced by lessening the intake of marijuana and increasing the consumption of alcohol around women.
