Rules for thee but not for me

Someone imposing rules on others while consciously breaking them themselves, like telling someone to stop doing something mean to them while doing the same mean thing to many others seconds ago.

C: *Pushes in self-defense*

A: "Stop pushing you stupid son of a bitch!"

B: "Yeah! Moron!"

C: "You were LITERALLY pushing me seconds ago!"

A: "It's cuz you're lower leveled than us!"

B: "Haha n00b!"

C: "Rules for thee but not for me."

(Based on a real interaction with a couple of people in a game. Words said here don't completely match with what was said in the game.)

This rule states that any person under the same nickname or similar nickname to 'BowieD' really exist in this world. These people are meant to serve as NPCs under the rule 34 in the society.

Why is he acting so weird? That's because his nickname is BowieD and he's forced to do the BowieD rule 34.

The Nukem Rule

The Nukem rule states that is is a bad idea to pre-order a game before its release date has been confirmed. The game could be delayed, or outright cancelled, making any deposit worthless.

This was brought on by the game Duke Nukem Forever, witch was delayed for over a decade.

"Hey man, have you pre-ordered Prey 2 yet?"

"Not going to bother, I follow the Nukem rule."
